The Pulse | Our Monthly Virtual Community Meetup

Every month, we get together for an hour to catch up, share what we're working on and help each other with the challenges that come up in fintech marketing.

It is deliberately informal. Bring a question, a problem you are trying to solve, something interesting you have seen, or just come along and join the conversation.

The format

0–5 min — One Word Round

We start with a quick round where everyone shares one word that sums up their month in fintech marketing. It is an easy way to see what people have been dealing with and get the conversation going.

5–35 min — In The Hot Seat

Each month, one member gets to bring one or two things they are currently trying to figure out to the group.

It could be a campaign that is not quite working, a positioning challenge, getting buy-in internally, figuring out where AI fits, a team or budget issue, or simply something they would like a second opinion on.

They talk us through the situation and then the rest of the group can ask questions, share their own experience and offer ideas or suggestions. The idea is that you get a genuinely useful conversation around something you are actually dealing with, rather than another presentation.

Anyone can put themselves forward for a future hot-seat, and we will rotate this each month.

35–52 min — Open Floor

We then open things up to everyone. This is where you can share a recent win, ask for a recommendation, get a second opinion on an idea, talk about something interesting you have seen in fintech marketing, or ask the group for an introduction or a bit of help.

There is no set agenda for this part, so we can follow whatever is useful to the people in the room.

52–60 min — Wrap Up

We will finish with a quick round of takeaways, giving everyone a chance to share something they are taking from the conversation.

We will also announce who is taking the hot seat next month.

There is no preparation needed and no expectation to present anything. Just come along and join the conversation.
